Can You Spot the Jewish Scarecrow?
We challenged Charedi kids around Israel to create a scarecrow out of recycled materials.
The scarecrows will protect the mini farms they’re planting in their schoolyards, as part of Leshomra’s green education program in Charedi schools and kindergartens around Israel.
Can you spot the Jewish scarecrow?
- This scarecrow is busy protecting this creative garden. Might be Jewish.
- Could be Yemenite?
- This one gets points for creativity. Note how each button on his shirt is made from a different recycled material.
- Thanks for watching the crops.
- We think he’s cute. Hopefully the crows are scared.
- This scarecrow is one of the boys. Probably Jewish.
- I definitely think this one’s Jewish.
- Watching over their little farm, day and night.
